Rapid Resolution Group

About

An independent practice, not an agency.

Rapid Resolution Group is an independent consulting practice run by a software and data developer.

Background

Roughly six years in healthcare information technology, currently as the in-house technical lead for a California behavioral health agency: EHR data pipelines, county reporting, Microsoft 365 administration, and the long tail of work that keeps a small agency's systems running.

Before that, ten years building and running a custom children's clothing manufacturer alongside a seamstress partner. It became a leading Etsy seller in its category on the strength of an unglamorous piece of engineering: an order pipeline that routed three sales channels through one API layer to two manufacturers, cutting made-to-order fulfilment from about fourteen days to four with no inventory carried up front.

Those two halves are the whole of it — software and data on one side, operations inside heavily regulated, documentation-bound organisations on the other. The consulting practice sits where they meet.

What the practice is for

One capability, applied to several markets: build a large document corpus and mine it accurately enough to stake something on the result.

The emphasis on accurately is the point. It is trivially easy to produce a confident, fluent, wrong summary of ten thousand pages. It is considerably harder to produce one you would hand to an examiner, file with a court, or submit to a county — and to show your work.

A deliberate constraint: engagements are built on open components, and clients keep the pipeline, the intermediate data and the outputs. Being difficult to leave is not a business model worth having.

How I work

  • As-needed, not retained. A defined piece of work at a fixed price, quoted after a scoping sample. No subscription, no seats, no annual minimum.
  • Measured, not asserted. Accuracy is a number produced against controlled ground truth before your material is processed.
  • Cited, always. Every finding resolves to a page. Anything unreadable is reported as unreadable.
  • Scoped honestly. If a commercial product solves your problem better, or the problem is not tractable, you will hear that at the first call rather than at the third invoice.
  • Remote-first. Working nationwide; physical media can be shipped and handled under agreed terms.

Start with a sample of your corpus

Send a representative slice — a few hundred pages is plenty. You get back the processed output, an accuracy report against that slice, and a fixed price for the full job before any commitment.
